Background Information
Garki Microfinance Bank Ltd (GMFB) commenced operations on March 30, 1995 as NCWS community Bank. In December 2007, it was issued license by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to operate as Microfinance Bank under the brand name Garki Microfinance Bank Limited.

Management Team

A retired principal bank manager in UBA with over 20 years experience across commercial and microfinance banks. He is a member of Nigerian Institute of Management Consultants and is a Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Certified Microfinance Practitioner (MCP).
Mallam Ahmed Hamman
Managing Director

She has a Doctorate degree in Community Development. She is the first National Vice-President of National Council of Women Societies. She is also a fellow of many local and international professional bodies.
Chief Mrs Gloria Laraba Shoda
Director

An experienced journalist successful in business and entrepreneurship. She is an executive member of many women social, religious and economic groups best known for her excellent managerial skills.
Mrs Eunice Onyegiri
Director

The seasoned administrator holds masters in Public Administration and a Honorary Doctorate Degree. He is the Chief of Garki.
HRH (Dr) Usman Nga Kupi (Chief of Garki)
Director

A masters’ degree holder in Architecture, has acquired extensive experience in private sector business, where he served as director at several companies. He is a man of high intellect with exceptional administrative and leadership skills.
